Jewish Voice for Peace-Seattle is a diverse and democratic community of activists inspired by Jewish tradition to work together for peace, social justice, and human rights since 2006.

JVP-Seattle is involved in direct actions, campaign work, Jewish ritual, study groups, and education within the broader the community about the Israeli occupation of Palestine.

We’re building an inclusive, vibrant Jewish community where there is space for secular, religious, multiracial, and queer Jews. In working against the occupation of Palestinian land, we are refusing to let the policies of the Israeli and U.S. governments speak for us. We are committed to fighting Islamophobia, anti-Arab racism, including racism within Jewish communities against Mizrahi, Sephardi, Ethiopian Jews, and all Jews of color, as well as anti-Jewish oppression.

By connecting spirituality and politics in our Jewish rituals and holidays, we are creating new traditions that allow us to bring our whole selves to our political work. Promoting Jewish visibility in social justice movements, we are committed to working in coalition with other social justice groups.
